Mikhail Alekseyevich Krivovkrivov[1].jpg

Associate Professor, holder of a doctorate in Physics and Mathematics. From 1960 to 1984 he headed the Siberian Physical Technical Institute (SPhTI) and broadened the concept of a university research institute into one embracing investigation-based training. Under his guidance the SPhTI major areas of research developed into new courses, departments, and schools (the Department of Radio Physics, the Department of Applied Mathematics and Cybernetics, and the Department of Physics and Engineering).  

The degree was awarded by the TSU Academic Council decision of 16.06.93 for his distinguished service to Tomsk State University.

Administrator of Ohio University (USA). Due to his active collaboration, the Russian-American College of the Humanities (International Department of Management) and the Russian-American College of Agricultural Science and Biology (International Department of Agricultural Science) opened at Tomsk University.
 

The degree was awarded by the TSU Academic Council decision of 16.06.93 for promoting collaboration between Tomsk and Ohio Universities.

Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Professor, holder of a higher doctorate in Mathematics and Physics, Honored Scientist of the RF. He graduated in Physics from TSU and worked at Tomsk University since 1952. Founder of the Tomsk Academic Research Sector. 
 
The degree was awarded by the TSU Academic Council decision of 28.12.94 for his distinguished service to Tomsk State University.

Chair of the Udmurtiya Research Centre of the Ural Branch (UB) of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS). Director of the Institute of Applied Mechanics of the UB of the RAS, Academician of the RAS, holder of a higher doctorate in Technical Sciences, Professor. A graduate of Tomsk University. When Vice-Minister of Higher Education of the RF, he actively assisted the development of TSU education and research. 

The degree was awarded by the TSU Academic Council decision of 08.02.95 for distinguished service to Tomsk State University.

Professor of the Department of Political Economy, Honored Scientist of the RF, holder of a higher doctorate in Economics, Professor. He worked at TSU from 1957. As TSU Rector (1967–1983) he successfully built an enthusiastic and high-performing team who ranked high in the USSR Ministry of Education system. 
 
The degree was awarded by the TSU Academic Council decision of 29.03.95 for distinguished service to Tomsk State University.

Judith Marquand (Great Britain)

markvand[1].jpg Professor of Oxford University. Graduated from Oxford and Harvard Universities, holds academic degrees in Economics. She has collaborated with Tomsk State University since 1993 and initiated and coordinated a number of Tempus Programme applications; two projects have been
carried out.

The degree was awarded by the TSU Academic Council decision of 01.07.98 for her important contribution to the development of the TSU resources and facilities.

Graduated in Geology and Geography from Tomsk State University. He made a great contribution to the University’s research, education and resources development and the promotion of the TSU’s high ranking in Russia and abroad.

He has done research on cancer of the cervix, where he discovered the role of papilloma  viruses, for which he received the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine 2008. He is a winner of numerous national and international awards (Robert Koch Prize, Charles S. Mott Prize, Gairdner International Awards, and others)

The degree was awarded by the TSU Academic Council decision of 29.04.2015 for his great contribution to the development of advanced research at Tomsk State University in cell and molecular biomedicine.
