The goals of the present Master's programme is to equip students with all necessary skills and knowledge for implementation of the following projects:
The programme offers training of specialists able to develop and study complex information technologies in distributed intelligent integration systems of different applications based on Russian and international regulatory documents. This programme allows the students to obtain skills for:
- organizing information support of management using computer and telecommunications;
- development, modernization, and operation of automated information systems, including hardware, software and information support in the monitoring of problems in technosphere security;
- development and commercial use of information resources in integrated systems for monitoring and ensuring the safety of cities and territories, including special-purpose systems;- methods of intelligent systems, CAD systems, their mathematical and software support and methods of protection of information systems.
The programme offers training of qualified specialists in telecommunications, communication, and also transfer, reception and processing of information. Such professionals possess:
Profound knowledge and understanding of computerized systems of information processing and transfer, programming methods including elements of parallel programming, of verification, validation, and testing of hardware and software telecommunication systems components;
Skills to design software including data- and knowledge-bases, to analyze computer system safety, to design, improve and verify logical designs, to create and test telecommunication protocols.
Ability to speak English fluently, given English is the international language for computer technology and beyond.
MSc Human Development: Genetics, Neuroscience and Psychology is specifically aimed at those pursuing a research career or professional career in educational, clinical and other professional settings. This interdisciplinary programme provides training in basic scientific and technological principles of modern research methods, and their application to understanding and improving human development. The programme is implemented at the International Centre for Research in Human Development (ICRHD).
The International Centre for Research in Human Development is also a member of multiple consortia and networks, including Twin Registries, TAGC (The Accessible Genetics Consortium), INRiCHD (International Network for Research in Child Health and Development). The programme is taught through lectures, seminars and workshops delivered by experts in the relevant fields. Assessment is through written and oral examination, coursework, presentations, research project, dissertation. Students may carry out the research project remotely supervised by our specialists.
