A student from Vietnam took 3rd place in the Olympiad in RUDN

TSU’s international students Huong Dang (Vietnam) and Lisa Shtar (Germany) took part in the All-Russian forum of international students (graduate courses) of Russian universities. The student from Vietnam took the third place in the Russian language Olympiad.

The forum was held at the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN) in Moscow and was attended by more than 300 people - representatives of 46 countries and students from 30 universities in 25 regions of Russia.

Huong Dang became the prizewinner of the Olympiad in Russian as a foreign language, in which students from Macedonia, Ecuador, Afghanistan, Moldova, China, and other countries took part.

- The tasks consisted of two parts: a test and an essay. I wrote about Russia and Tomsk because I fell in love with this country and the city. Here, there is beautiful nature, a friendly atmosphere, and most importantly, good people. During my studies I found a lot of friends, and I hope that when I go home, we will continue to communicate, - says Huong Dang. - The victory in the Olympiad showed that I got excellent knowledge of the Russian language at TSU, and I am grateful for that.

The programme of the forum included master classes on developing inner potential and personal growth, visiting the RUDN museum and sports competitions, and a sightseeing tour around Moscow.

- I participated in two master classes: one was devoted to self-development, and the other to the fear of public speaking. For me as a musician these are important topics, - noted Huong Dang.

In 2017, she graduated from the Institute of Arts and Culture.
