BIO Convention will be held from June 23rd through June 26th in San Diego, California – one of the leading centers for supporting biotechnology. Thousands of companies from around the world and all industry segments visit BIO, ready to build strategic partnerships.
Tomsk State University produced several developments. Among them is the way of obtaining microbiological fertilizer to increase crop productivity based on soil microorganisms.
The invention related to biotechnology and agricultural microbiology concerns strains, which increases the wheat yield and grain protein content. New strains can be implemented in the microbiological industry to get the biological preparation for increasing yields and quality of cereal grains.
TSU also presented the technology of metallurgy technogenic waste biological disposal using crop preparation for conifers rootage and new ways of preparing probiotic cultured milk foods. The last invention relates to biotechnology and dairy industries, and can be used to prepare probiotic cultured milk product for normalization of intestinal microflora, prevention and treatment of acute and chronic gastrointestinal diseases, food allergies, for increasing immunity and removing harmful substances from it.
TSU develops biotechnology actively. This year Tomsk State University won the contest of "Russian Venture Company” (RVC) for the right to carry out the acceleration program in BioTechMed. The project involves the work with Russian regions, startups search and selection. The best teams will be trained and will be able to find the big business investments and support.
