Universities of the Republic of Tajikistan are interested in developing cooperation with TSU

The Tomsk region Days of Education Science and Culture took place from 9 to 13 June in Tajikistan. The head of the TSU Master's Studies Department Schegoleva Natalia, Deputy Dean of Philological Department assistant professor Natalia Nesterova and assistant professor of Department of Philosophy Nicholay Pogodaev discussed with Tajik colleagues Tomsk State University multilevel system of training.

It was conducted two panel discussions during which leaders of universities, colleges and schools discussed scientific and educational cooperation.

- Universities of Tajikistan are interested in their students to graduate and postgraduate in our university. Then they returned to their universities as teachers. They are especially interested in linguistic direction, the methods of teaching Russian language - says Natalia Schegoleva.

The master class for testing in Russian language and language teaching methodology, which was conducted by TSU assistant professor Natalia Nesterova, attract a lot of attention. It was attended by the universities of Tajikistan, Institute of Advanced Training and Professional Retraining of educationalists representatives, teachers and principals. A lot of them have expressed their desire to come for the training in our university. In addition, the Russian language test for those who want to enroll in undergraduate and graduate TSU courses was organized with a help of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The main visit result was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between TSU and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as contracts with the Center for International Programs and three universities in Tajikistan - Russian-Tajik Slavonic University (RTSU), Tajik State University of Commerce, Tajikistan University of Technology

In 2013-2014 academic year in Tomsk universities studied 129 students from Tajikistan. 20 of them studied in TSU.
