On the May 27 TSU opened the engineering chemical and technological center (ECTC)

ECTC was opened by the Rector of Tomsk State University Edward Galazhinsky , Deputy Governor for Tomsk region Industry and Economic Policy Leonid Reznikov and the head of the center Andrey Knyazev . The head of the regional department of industrial policy Nicholai Glebovich, president of the Tomsk Chamber of Commerce Arkady Eskin, Deputy Governor for scientific and educational complex and innovative policy Alexey Knyazev , CEO "Tomskneftekhim" Roman Tumasev , chairman of SC " Tomlesdrev " Anton Nachkebia and city media representatives became guests of this event dedicated to the 136th university anniversary.

- TSU ECTC became the first center and has no analogue in the Urals , Siberia and the Far East - said during the ceremony , Vice-Governor Leonid Reznikov . - Full cycle engineering infrastructure will allow handling the results of scientific research, with the subsequent introduction in large industrial factories. Technologies developed in ECTC will be sent to existing chemical complex enterprise or posted on the Tomsk industrial park platform and the special economic zone as independent technology startups .
