On November 29, the International Day of Charity, Tomsk State University organized the Warmest Tuesday: it treated more than a thousand Tomsk residents to hot coffee, carried out the Ecological Marathon, a campaign for the collection of recyclable materials, and held the Free Market, a free fair for sharing things. The events were held as part of #GenerousTuesday, the public initiative to promote philanthropy.

The price of one cup of coffee was writing good wishes on a cup for the other participants of the action. Be the best, I wish you to pass the session, Let all be as you want - these inscriptions warmed no less than the coffee that was poured for all interested volunteers of the Centre for Socioprofessional Volunteering UNIVOL.
TSU’s mobile coffeemaker worked for several hours, and 125 liters of coffee were consumed and more than a thousand wishes were handed over.
At the Free Market everyone could bring things or take something that pleased him or her. The main message of the event was that it is not necessary to throw away something that can serve someone for years.
The Free Market is becoming a traditional platform for helping animals: event participants brought food and necessary items for a charity fund for animal welfare.
