On March 12 to 14, at the Lenexpo centre of Saint Petersburg the twentieth anniversary international exhibition of scientific achievements “High Technologies. Innovations. Investments” (High-Tech-2014) was held, within the framework of the Saint Petersburg Technical Fair.
Tomsk State University has presented its four projects here, all of them having been highly assessed by the jury of the contest “Best innovative project and best scientific and technical development of the year”.
TSU has been for the first time awarded the “Special prize”. The highest award and diploma of the first degree were given to the project “Medical materials and shape memory implants” presented in the nomination “Best innovative project in the field of medicine, sanitary, preventive care, healthy lifestyle, tourism, and medical equipment” headed by Victor Guenter (Scientific Research Centre of Medical Materials and Shape Memory Implants, TSU Siberian Physics and Engineering Institute).
It has been developed jointly with NPP MITS LLC.
In the nomination “Best innovative project (development) in the field of materials and chemical products” diploma of the first degree and the gold medal were given to the project “The development of technologies of producing valuable chemical materials based on glyoxal’ headed by Alexey Knyazev (TSU Chemistry Department).
It has been developed jointly with Novohim LLC, Glyoxal-T LLC, Aldo-Pharm LLC, Aldomed CJSC, and Compahim LLC.
In the nomination “Best innovative project (development) in the field of engineering, artificial senses”, the gold medal and the diploma went to the project “Digital X-ray microtomograph for scientific and industrial use” headed by Vladimir Syryamkin (TSU Department of innovative technologies).
- The University is a constant participant of the international exhibition “High Technologies. Innovations. Investments”, where the latest scientific and technical developments in different fields are presented, - says Vladimir Ivanovich. – The fact that TSU received several awards, undoubtedly, reflects the international recognition of University’s achievements.
In the nomination “Best innovative project (development) in the field of ecology, environmental management, and waste management”, the gold medal and the diploma were awarded to the project “Russian automated digital networked ionosphere recorder of the new generation” headed by Sergey Kolesnik (TSU Radio Physics Department) and developed jointly with TOMION LLC.
Besides, TSU received the diploma “For the contribution to Russia’s scientific and industrial complex and active participation in the Saint Petersburg Technical Fair”.
