TSU scientists will create new materials with colleagues from China

Tomsk State University has signed a memorandum of understanding with Heilongjiang University (Harbin). Currently, it is one of the leading universities of China.

- The memorandum of understanding signed by us is the starting point for closer collaboration, - says Ivan Ivonin, Vice-Rector for Academic Research. - The parties have determined that the priority areas of cooperation will be chemistry and chemical technology.  They are at a very high level at Heilongjiang University, and the University is in the top 100 in this area in the QS World University Rankings by Subject.

Scientists from Harbin and Tomsk will work together to create new material. TSU’s Centre for Research in Materials and Technologies and the Faculty of Chemistry will participate, and from Heilongjiang University, the Institute of Chemistry and Chemical Technology. In July, the partners will discuss the format of interaction and identify topics of joint scientific research.
