TSU will discuss the role of HR departments

On November 10, at TSU will begin the second international conference HR-TREND-2016: The Human Dimension of The University. This year's participants will discuss how management models of universities and modern business are changing and what support HR departments can provide administration and staff.

- Now the reinterpretation the very essence of the concept “university” is occuring in universities, - said Tatyana Klimova, head of the Staff Development Department. - We understand university as one of the most important places of concentrating and generating human resources. At the conference HR-TREND-2016, we want to raise questions about the place of HR departments in the transformation processes of universities, about types of interactions between the university and a person, and about the influence of the university model on the formation of HR policy.

Reports on the role of the administration of the university, the features of the corporate culture, the image of the university in social networks, professional burnout and its prevention, and other topics will be presented at the conference.

Participants will also be able to visit open public lectures where experts such as Takhir Bazarov, scientific director at the Institute of Applied Psychology at the Higher School of Economics, Professor Tatiana Fumasoli, University of Oslo, and others will talk about the person in the organization in crisis conditions, the relationship between scientists and the university administration, and the post-Soviet economy of Russia. In addition, on November 10 at 18.30, the large conference hall of the Research Library will host a presentation of the Russian-language edition of the book Organizational Anatomy by Oleg Konovalov, who has over 25 years of experience in managing companies in the UK and Russia and a doctorate from Durham University Business School (UK). The book presents a new management concept, which explains the internal and external organizational processes and functions from a biological point of view and allows you to increase productivity and define organizational diseases and pathologies. The work received review from DI Magazine (Financial Times), UK Trade & Investment, and other experts.
